Help Us Build a Place Where Healing Can Happen Year-Round
Some of the most meaningful moments at Kinship Equine Therapy happen quietly — beside a horse, during a moment of trust, or when someone realizes they are capable of more than they believed. Northern New Mexico weather can interrupt those moments.
Kinship is raising $350,000 to build a 90' x 120' covered arena in Las Vegas, New Mexico — a protected, dependable space where equine-assisted services can continue throughout the year.

Consistency makes connection possible.
Equine-assisted services depend on a safe, appropriate environment for both participants and horses. Wind, heat, cold, rain, and snow can cancel outdoor sessions and make consistent scheduling difficult — and a canceled session is a missed step forward for the person who was counting on it.
A covered arena will give Kinship a dependable space so people can keep showing up, keep building trust, and keep making progress throughout the year. This is more than an arena. It is an investment in consistent access to services, meaningful connection, and Kinship's ability to serve the community all year long.
The arena will help Kinship:
- Provide more consistent year-round programming
- Create a protected environment for participants and horses
- Expand opportunities to serve veterans, youth, families, and community members
- Reduce weather-related interruptions
- Provide a dedicated space for equine-assisted experiences
- Strengthen Kinship's ability to grow and serve the community in the future

The Vision
The covered arena will create a dedicated space where people and horses can come together more consistently throughout the year.
It will support the equine-assisted services Kinship provides today while helping create the capacity needed to serve more people in the future.
Four ways a covered arena changes what's possible.
Year-Round Access
A covered environment will allow programs to continue more consistently despite changing weather.
A Safe Place to Connect
Participants and horses will have a dedicated space designed for meaningful interaction, learning, and connection.
More Opportunities to Serve
Greater scheduling consistency creates opportunities for Kinship to reach more veterans, youth, families, and community members.
A Foundation for the Future
The arena will become an important piece of infrastructure supporting Kinship's long-term mission and growth.
Every Gift Helps Build the Future of Kinship
A project of this size will be built through many acts of generosity.
Whether someone gives $100 or makes a transformational campaign gift, each donor becomes part of creating a place where people and horses can continue coming together for healing, connection, resilience, and growth.

Every gift becomes part of the story.
Interested in Making a Leadership Gift?
Individuals, businesses, foundations, and community partners interested in supporting the covered arena through a significant gift are invited to connect with Kinship Equine Therapy.
We welcome the opportunity to talk about the project, the vision for the arena, and ways you can become part of Kinship's future.
Built for the people it will serve.
This arena is being created so weather does not have to determine when connection, learning, support, and growth can happen. It will support equine-assisted services for:
- Veterans and the military community
- Youth
- Families
- Individuals
- Community groups
And it will be a place where horses can continue doing what they do so naturally — meeting people exactly where they are.
Strengthening equine-assisted services in our region.
Kinship Equine Therapy is based in Las Vegas, New Mexico, and serves the surrounding Northern New Mexico community. A covered arena will strengthen our capacity to offer equine-assisted services here at home — for veterans, youth and families, individuals, and community groups — with fewer interruptions from the region's weather.
Help Build What's Next for Kinship
Your support can help create a safe, dependable space where horses and people can connect throughout the year. Together, we can build more than an arena — we can build greater access to healing, growth, resilience, and connection for the Northern New Mexico community.
